It all started in a place where a lot of new companies are founded - in frustration. Frustration over the fact that it's virtually impossible to find good accessories and clothes for men at a decent price. What is left is the mainstream of ties and buttons and shirts that you find in most city boutiques and department stores. Ulterior Motive is an alternative to that.
We want to offer men in different ages an something new as opposed to conservative accessories. We are more rock'n'roll than business.
When it comes to ties our philosophy is that you can wear a tie almost anytime. The reason why (almost) nobody does this today is that the ties that you find in stores are either meant for business or dinner parties. Our question is - why can't you have a tie at the weekend barbeque?
